Science in the Suburbs
Based on the Australian Museum’s highly successful Science in the City event in Sydney, the Australian Museum will work with local scientists and educators to bring the excitement and discovery of science to school kids in rural NSW.
Students will have the opportunity to attend the Science in the Suburbs Expo and interact with hands on displays of all things scientific from physics to zoology and more. Along with the Science in the Suburbs Expo students of all ages will be inspired by scientific shows, workshops and talks. In addition to these activities, free networking and development events for teachers will provide insight into the latest research in specific areas to support their teaching in the classroom.
Bookings are essential for these popular activities and numbers are limited - so please book early to avoid disappointment!
Science in the Suburbs is brought to you by the Australian Government through the Science Connections Program of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.
