Science in the Suburbs

Hosted by the Department of Primary Industries, Science in the Suburbs at Cronulla promises to be a great day for senior students and teachers to learn about all things scientific happening in their local area.

Start off the day of discovery with an indigenous tour of the site and an introductory talk explaining the role of the Cronulla Fisheries Research Centre of Excellence and the importance of Marine Biology.

All students have the opportunity to take part in hands on workshops. Students will experience aquatic animal tagging and can participate in a fish dissection to learn how scientists discover information about their age and reproductive habits.
